In conjunction with the Oklahoma Department of Transportation’s plan to significantly expand their Fiber Optics network, Rohl Networks was awarded 2 of 9 segments spanning approximately 100 miles along highways US-417, US-75, SR-3 and SR – 99. This $4.2M expansion is scheduled to begin late February and be placed into service late summer. The D.O.T. will also be the main beneficiary of the project, since the new fiber optics will power road signage, street lights, amber alerts, message signs on highways and roadways. One part of our team will be based in Moreland, working on a 50 mile portion of the project located in the far northwest corner of OK. And the other half of our team will be based in Coalgate, working on the 50 mile stretch in the far southeast corner of OK.
